Partisan Potables and Election Eats Return to 1331 Bar & Lounge at JW Marriott


WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwire - Sep 12, 2012) - Republicans, democrats and independents alike are invited to catch all the campaign coverage at 1331 Bar & Lounge in the JW Marriott Washington, DC luxury hotel. Now through election night, November 6, every Tuesday, including the conventions, presidential and vice presidential debate nights, guests of 1331 Bar & Lounge in downtown Washington, DC can watch things heat up and the political punches being thrown on eight HDTVs throughout the lounge. 

While Romney/Ryan and Obama/Biden duke it out, guests can sip from a selection of timeless cocktails with an election spin such as the Mint Romney with Chambord, Frangelico, cream and fresh mint; Barockin' Mai Tai, a concoction of Bacardi Orange rum, fresh pineapple and lemon juice, lime soda and a drizzle of blue curacao; Patriotic One, Two Punch with Basil Hayden's bourbon, brandy, St. Germain elderflower liqueur and fresh lemon juice, and the Campaign Champagne Cocktail with elderflower liqueur. A selection of brews from Chicago and Boston is also available. 

The Left Wings and Right Wings are back by popular demand from the last election cycle, and are ready for a re-match. The 2012 version includes the Hawaiian glazed Left Wings with fresh pineapple spears and the Boston honey glazed Right Wings, with a mini-pot of Boston-style baked beans. In addition, shareable bi-partisan bites for guests to nosh are available including Boston Cod sliders, pan-seared with Iceberg lettuce and tartar sauce; Hawaiian Peppered Ahi Tuna on Autumn Red Oak lettuce and ginger soy dressing; flatbread pizza featuring ingredients from the home states of past and present candidates; Wisconsin cheddar, Delaware peppers, California tomatoes, Pennsylvania mushrooms, and Georgia onions. Finally, to complete the election menu, a miniature chocolate white house filled with chocolate truffles. 

For those who want to cheer or mull over who won the debates, Campaign Champagne Cocktails are available for $8, two hours after each debate ends. All cocktails and menu items are $11.06. Beer is $6.25. All items are available from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m. every Tuesday and include these dates:
