PassAlong Networks Announces Connected Consumer Division

New Division to Focus on Integrating Content Services Into Consumer Electronics Products

FRANKLIN, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 22, 2007 -- PassAlong Networks™, developer of digital media innovations and services, today unveiled its Connected Consumer Division (CCD), which focuses on the integration of its technologies with consumer electronics (CE) devices. The CCD will work with CE partners to embed its digital media technologies into chips and devices in order to bring new types of products to market with innovative content capabilities and services.

The CCD will be co-managed by Brad Edmonson, PassAlong's Senior Vice President of Technology, and Ben Algaze, who recently joined PassAlong as Vice President of Connected Consumer Strategy. Algaze, who was formerly with Microsoft, Dell, Unisys and IBM, has extensive experience in software, Internet and digital media technologies. He spent 10 years at Microsoft in several capacities, including director of business development for the Digital Media Division, where he focused on DRM, Windows Media, technology licensing and strategic partnerships.
