The MP3-only download store ( will feature 2.1 million songs from independent labels and from EMI, making it the largest legal MP3 catalog that includes songs from a major label.

Utilizing PassAlong Networks' StoreBlocks™ music distribution platform, which supports Safari, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox browsers, the MP3 tracks available at the site work with both Macintosh and Windows operating systems. Consumers of digital music widely prefer the MP3 format because of its interoperability and ease of use.

Music download cards and gift cards can be offered at retail counters, included inside product packaging or distributed at concerts and other events. The promotions are PIN-based (personal identification numbers) and can be used in virtual promotions where PINs are sent out via email or printed on transaction receipts. Consumers can then visit a branded web page to redeem their gift cards.
