Pat Panchak Joins STACK Media as Editorial Director

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwire - Apr 27, 2011) - Pat Panchak, an award-winning journalist with 20 years of experience in publishing and journalism, has joined STACK Media, the nation's leading producer and distributor of sports participant information and services. As STACK's Editorial Director, Panchak will manage the company's overall content strategy and execution on all platforms, including the STACK Media network, STACK Magazine, STACK TV, the STACK blog and a profusion of partner sites, such as the Gatorade Performance Center, that feature STACK articles and video.

As Editor-in-Chief at IndustryWeek and, Panchak directed strategic development and execution of Penton Media's award-winning media franchise, including a monthly national magazine and related websites, executive conferences, proprietary research reports and interactive information products. Prior to that, as Executive/Managing Editor of Industry Week, she coordinated coverage and managed editorial branding of Penton's IndustryWeek group, including two national magazines, two websites and a television show. Her experience also includes stints with Electronics and Modern Office Technology.

Panchak holds a B.A. in English and a B.S. in Journalism from Bowling Green State University and an M.S. in Journalism from Ohio University. She has won several awards, including two Jessie H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards, the American Society of Business Press Editors' National Bronze and Silver Awards, and American Business Media's Midwest Editorial Award for Courage and Integrity.
