Patricia Mining Corp. Announces Changes to Management Team

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 27, 2006) - Patricia Mining Corp. ("Patricia") (TSX VENTURE:PAT) announces that Mr. Jean-Pierre (JP) Chauvin, P.Eng., has chosen to resign as President and Chief Executive Officer. Effective immediately, Patricia's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Chris Chadder, C.A., will assume the position of President on an interim basis. Mr. Chadder has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Company for the past nineteen months and in addition has over 15 years of experience providing business advisory consulting and auditing functions to public resource companies.

Mr. Chauvin played an important role in successfully leading Patricia's advanced development program at the Island Gold Project, located near Hemlo, Ontario. Patricia has a 45% interest in the Island Gold Project which will be in production in 2006 and is forecasted to produce 60,000 to 65,000 ounces in 2007. Mr. Chauvin's decision to resign is based on personal reasons.

Richard Sutcliffe, Patricia's Chairman, stated "On behalf of the board, I would like to express my thanks to JP for his efforts as CEO of Patricia and his leadership that resulted in bringing the company to its current status as a near-term gold producer. We are sorry that JP is stepping down as a member of the management team, but wish him well in his future endeavours."
