Patrician Diamonds Inc.: Triex Diamond Drilling Dismal West Uranium Now

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 5, 2007) - Patrician Diamonds Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PXC) ("PXC") reports today that it has received an update, based on publicly disclosed information, from Triex Minerals Corporation ("Triex") with respect to the Triex exploration programme on Patrician's 100% owned Dismal Lake West uranium property in the Hornby Bay area, NT.

Below is a brief summary of the Dismal Lake program as reported by Michael H. Gunning, Ph.D, P.Geo, President of Triex and a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101.

"A fence of seven vertical diamond drill holes is planned for the eastern (Patrician) target at Dismal Lake. Holes are 400 metres apart. All holes will test the entire thickness of Unit 11 sandstone, the host of the Mountain Lake deposit. The base of Unit 11 is interpreted to be at least 300 metres below surface based on historic drilling in the area. At least one hole will confirm the depth of granitic basement in the area.

A down-hole Mount Sopris 2PGA-1000 poly-gamma probe will be used on all holes.

Drilling at Dismal Lake is anticipated to be complete by the end of June. There is a contingency to extend the program and continue drilling during the summer of 2007 if preliminary results are sufficiently encouraging.

It is unlikely that full geochemical results from the drilling at Dismal Lake will be in hand before September. Complete results of the 2007 drill program will be released in the fall, when all data are in hand.

The current drill program at Dismal Lake follows up on an airborne GEOTEM magnetic and electromagnetic survey flown by Fugro Airborne Surveys in 2005, and an airborne radiometric survey flown by Triex Minerals in 2006. This work improved the delineation of prospective map units and structures, and identified two targets (eastern and western) that are potentially the source for the radiometric boulder field discovered west of the property in the late 1970's. The eastern target is on the claim block acquired from Patrician Diamonds Inc.

Triex announced its approved $2.3 million Hornby Basin joint venture exploration program on January 30th, 2007. It includes 5,000 metres of drilling in four main areas, one of which is the eastern target at Dismal Lake.

Mobilization for the drill program began in mid April with re-establishment of the ice strip and camp at Kirwan Lake. Triex announced on May 9th that the drill program was underway.

A ground-based resistivity survey is being done at Dismal Lake prior to drilling in order to refine the delineation of prospective map units and structures, and better define drill targets."
