Patrick Dempsey, the New Face of Silhouette Eyewear

Between his role of Dr. Shepherd, a neurosurgeon, in Grey's Anatomy and his participation in the next 24 Hours du Mans, Patrick Dempsey is the new face of the Austrian brand Silhouette.

Present at the official launch of Silhouette "An Icon for an Icon" at MIDO (Milan) on March 4, Dempsey said lightness, comfort and style have always been the qualities they are looking for glasses. The actor now has its own personally tailored pair.

The actor

He practiced juggling since a young age and even won third place in the National Championship Juggling. He also has a passion for racing and participate to the Nascar circuit. In 2003, he founded his own team, Dempsey Racing. This year, Dempsey will participate for a second time at the competition 24 Hours du Mans in June 2013."

Describe your own style?
"I really love the classic lines and also modern designs, but at the same time, I like things that are comfortable. I like something with a little edge but not too much of a statement in that the style is wearing you not the other around. Fabric is a big thing for me, and the quality of the construction, and craftsmanship, that is really important for me. You really appreciate things more."
