Patrick Long Rejoins KBW's Depository Investment Banking Group


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - April 14, 2015) - Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Inc., a full‐service, boutique investment bank and broker‐dealer that specializes in the financial services sector, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp. (NYSE: SF), today announced that Patrick Long has rejoined the firm as a Managing Director in the Depository Investment Banking Group. Mr. Long will be based in the firm's Richmond, Virginia office and his appointment is effective today.

Mr. Long joins Keefe, Bruyette & Woods after spending the past two years as a Managing Director at Sterne Agee focusing on banks and thrifts in the Southeastern region. Prior to Sterne Agee, Mr. Long spent thirteen years at KBW where he advised Southeastern institutions on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring and recapitalizations, and capital raising transactions. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy for six years before earning his MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business.
