PATTISON Outdoor Advertising, Canada's leader in Out-of-Home advertising, Warner Bros. Pictures Canada and the TTC, the nation's largest urban mass transit system and the third most heavily used transit system in North America, today announced that they are rolling out a fully wrapped TTC Toronto Rocket super train promoting the most highly anticipated film of this holiday season "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug,".

The full-wrap exterior advertisement on the Toronto Rocket super train begins its journey today and will run exclusively on the Yonge-University-Spadina line making it available to hundreds of thousands of passengers on numerous subway platforms. Prominently featured on the permanent six-car fixed configuration super train, the movie campaign advertisement stretches across 450-plus feet on the exterior of the train, with the experience continuing inside where more of the creative can be seen.

The installation of the full wrap exterior creative took crews approximately 20 hours to complete. The campaign also includes interior signage consisting of 11"x35" and 20"x28" posters. Each car on the permanent six-car set super train is 78 feet long and can carry up to 68 seated passengers. The Toronto Rocket is the newest model of subway trains on the TTC system.

The campaign commences today and will run for four consecutive weeks concluding on the movie's opening day. "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug," is the second film in Peter Jackson's epic fantasy adventure Trilogy and opens in theatres across North America on December 13, 2013 in RealD 3D, HFR 3D and IMAX® 3D.
