Paulson Investment Company, Inc. Completes $6 Million Public Offering for BioCurex

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - January 26, 2010) - Paulson Investment Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Paulson Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: PLCC), today announced it served as lead manager on the recently completed secondary offering for BioCurex (OTCBB: BOCX) (OTCBB: BOCXW). The offering, which grossed $6 million, closed on Friday, January 22, 2010.

The BioCurex offering was 1.2 million units at an offering price of $5.00 per unit, with each unit composed of 70 shares of common stock and 70 warrants. BioCurex warrants are exercisable at 150% and callable at 200% of the price of the common stock on the effective date. The units have been immediately split into the components, and the units will not trade.
