Payments Industry Veteran, Walt Levengood, to Help Drive aurionPro's Thriving Payments Business

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - May 12, 2011) - aurionPro today announced the appointment of Walt Levengood as President, Payments.

Mr. Levengood has built an extensive career spanning strategy, business development, and operational roles, the last 10 years of which have been dedicated to selling and implementing innovative solutions for payment-centric companies. As COO and CIO for Merchant Cash & Capital, Mr. Levengood was responsible for the Company's systems and operations while also overseeing development work relative to the scalability of Merchant Cash and Capital's business and integration into multiple tier 1 processors.

Prior to Merchant Cash and Capital, Mr. Levengood served as Senior Vice President, Payment Services Group at The Bancorp Bank, a multibillion-dollar bank focused on branchless Internet-based financial services. He previously held a mix of key operational and development positions, including Executive Director, Business Development at FreedomPay Inc., a flexible and customizable cashless payment system designed to meet the unique cashless needs of merchants, financial institutions, and food service providers.
