Paypal Support Added to SiteGrinder Photoshop Website Development Plug-In

Media Lab Releases SiteGrinder 3.1

LOGAN, UT--(Marketwire - September 8, 2010) -  Media Lab Inc., premier provider of Photoshop plug-in website creation technologies, today announced release 3.1 of its SiteGrinder 3 website development platform.

The Media Lab SiteGrinder release 3.1 contains many features including support for Paypal Standard. This and many other recently released features will enhance the user's website development experience. Graphic designers, photographers, artists or anyone can easily transform their Photoshop designs into CSS and XHTML standards-compliant websites without writing a single line of code.

The 3.1 release of SiteGrinder 3 adds support for the PayPal Standard ecommerce payment system. Now SiteGrinder 3 owners who have the Commerce add-on can make sites where ecommerce buttons and forms are integrated with PayPal. Any designated button or form can be configured for Checkout, Add to Cart, or Donation with the value set right in the SiteGrinder interface. A trial version of SiteGrinder 3.1 is available for immediate download.

"As part of our effort to constantly improve SiteGrinder, release 3.1 adds several new features," said Chris Perkins, Media Lab Co-founder. "Many of SiteGrinder's new features have focused on integration with third party products such as the iPad and iPhone, support for services like flickr for importing picture galleries, and with release 3.1 support for the Paypal Standard shopping cart."

SiteGrinder 3 new Features

  • Paypal Standard shopping cart integration
  • Slimbox variant of the bigbox gallery component
  • iPad-friendly CSS animated picturebox (crossfading and self playing without flash!)
  • Flickr support in panelsheets
  • New one click access to site information dialog box
  • Local Content Manager created sites can now convert to Remote CMS

"SiteGrinder 3 is a must have for serious web designers," said Andy Waldrop of Waldrop Design. "I can now use all of Photoshop's tools to build compelling interactive websites without writing a single line of code. The CMS system is robust, easy-to-use and very SEO friendly."

SiteGrinder 3 Websuite

In addition to SiteGrinder's many features the SiteGrinder 3 Web Suite includes two very powerful add-ons and is a must have for serious designers.

The SiteGrinder 3 Commerce add-on builds web stores with a fully-integrated shopping cart from within Photoshop. Users can now easily create online stores with shopping carts from image galleries using simple Photoshop text and art layers. After publishing their store to the web, users can edit products, pricing, images and descriptions remotely using any web browser. Both Paypal Standard and FoxyCart shopping carts are supported.

The SiteGrinder 3 Control add-on enables website content management from any Internet-connected computer through a web browser. The designer/developer (or client) can quickly change any site content including page additions, text, images and galleries remotely from any web browser, all without returning to Photoshop.
