DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - June 28, 2016) - PCL Construction is honored to once again be named as one of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials by Great Place to Work® and Fortune, ranking number 73 on the list.
The 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials ranking is one of a series of rankings by Great Place to Work® and Fortune based upon employee survey feedback from 620 Great Place to Work®-certified organizations.
To determine the list, Fortune asked Great Place to Work® to survey more than 88,000 Millennials (born 1981 or later), who rated their organizations on 58 workplace quality questions. The anonymous survey included questions about employees' levels of trust, pride, and camaraderie experienced in the workplace.
"This continued acknowledgement by the consulting firm Great Place to Work and Fortune is an honor and evidence that PCL recognizes the need to keep up and engage all employees," said Shaun Yancey, PCL president and COO of US operations. "PCL's employee base, which spans several generations, feels a great sense of pride in the company's culture and does a fantastic job of creating an inclusive, goal-oriented workplace environment for all."
"There are more similarities than differences when it comes to what different generations want in a great workplace," says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. "Our research shows that company pride, a sense of community and competent, ethical leadership can bring Millennials, Gen Xers, and Baby Boomers together for a great, high-performing workplace."
