PDT Becomes Strategic Medical Partner With BMES

Biomimetic MicroElectronic Systems

(PDT), a division of TZ Limited (ASX: TZL), is excited to announce that PDT has been invited to become a strategic development partner with the Biomimetic MicroElectonic Systems (BMES) Engineering Research Center at University of Southern California (USC). This not-for-profit team of 50+ surgeons and engineers, sponsored by the U.S. National Science Foundation (the second largest government research organization in the United States), collaborates with industry and academia to develop next generation surgical implants and devices.

This invitation validates PDT's strong commitment to the medical device industry and gives the company the opportunity to apply its product development skills to groundbreaking medical programs. The Biomimetic MicroElectonic Systems (BMES) Engineering Research Center (ERC) is a unique National Science Foundation sponsored center that brings together multi-disciplinary teams to develop next generation implantable microelectronics with an industrial focus on commercialization.
