Peace Arch Entertainment Announces President John Flock Elected to Board of Directors and Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Flock Promotion Further Validates Company's Sustained Period of Growth and Rapid Expansion of Burgeoning Worldwide Production and Distribution Operations

TORONTO--(Marketwire - September 11, 2007) - Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. (AMEX: PAE) (TSX: PAE), an integrated global entertainment company creating critically acclaimed television, film and DVD content for worldwide distribution, today announced that industry veteran John Flock has signed a new agreement that retains his current position as President, expands his responsibilities as new Chief Operating Officer and appoints him to the Company's Board of Directors (effective September 1, 2007). Mr. Flock's promotion underscores his proven leadership during one of the most exciting periods of growth in the Company's history.

Since joining Peace Arch in May 2004, Mr. Flock has helped set an aggressive strategy that resulted in a dramatic increase in the number productions, distribution agreements and acquisitions, including one of the largest independent English-language feature film libraries in the world. He was also instrumental in the Company's expansion into direct theatrical and DVD distribution in the United States.

Mr. Flock contributes nearly 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry, including as an attorney specializing in independent feature film production, financing and distribution. During the 1990s he was one of the industry's more prolific producers of independent feature films. Prior to joining Peace Arch in 2004, Flock supervised production and business affairs for Cinefinance LLC, which he helped to establish as one of the leading completion guarantors in the film and television industry.
