Peace Naturals Project Inc. Becomes First MMPR Licensed Producer to Receive 2nd Annual Health Canada Issued License Renewal

STAYNER, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 30, 2015) - The Peace Naturals Project Inc., a licensed producer under Canada's federal Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations, has received their second Health Canada issued license renewal on Friday October 30, 2015.

The Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR), which began officially in October 2013, grants Canadians access to medicinal Cannabis by way of a prescription from their health care practitioner.

Peace Naturals Project Inc. received Health Canada's first newly issued license under the MMPR program on October 29, 2013. The licence classifies Peace Naturals Project Inc. as one of Canada's Licenced Producers and distributors of medical Cannabis. As the issued licenses have a one-year term, Licensed Producers undergo in-depth regulatory inspections to determine if those companies have been committed to the overall success of the program by maintaining and following their strict Quality Assurance Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures. Peace Naturals Project Inc., which recently underwent a multi-day review of their records and protocols, has been granted the first 2015 licence renewal issued by Health Canada.

"We are grateful for this continued opportunity to provide compassion, innovation and excellence. Working closely with Health Canada, and with our team's commitment to compliance and quality, we have achieved another great milestone," says Mark Gobuty, the company's CEO & Founder. "We look forward to another year working with our regulators to provide greater access to medical Cannabis in Canada and the introduction of non-combustible Cannabis solutions."

The company is committed to continuous improvement and the overall success of what is truly an industry to watch.
