Peak Communicators Ltd.: Canadian Real Estate Firm Could Set One-Day Sales Record With Launch of Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki

Buyers in Honolulu and Tokyo to simultaneously choose luxury hotel condominium suites on November 9-10, a world first

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 7, 2006) - If sales go as planned, the sales event for the Trump International Hotel and Tower in Waikiki will set a record for the amount of residential property sold in one development on a single day. Vancouver based S&P Destination Properties (S&P) will launch the new 38-storey Trump Tower Waikiki simultaneously in Hawaii and Tokyo on November 9th (November 10th in Tokyo) using their proprietary on-line sales selection process. The estimated $690 million sale could be the biggest one day sale in residential real estate history. It's predicted that 80 to 100 per cent of the 464 suites will be sold before the day is over.

The previous one day residential property sale record was established by another Vancouver-based company - Intrawest - with the sale of all 318 suites in the first phase of a Maui resort for $425 million last December.

S&P has teamed with Irongate, a Los Angeles based real estate development and investment company, and celebrity businessman and developer Donald Trump. Called Trump International Hotel and Tower Waikiki Beach Walk™, the five-star luxury hotel-condominium is generating interest from buyers around the world.

"Trump Tower Waikiki will be the most luxurious development in one of the most recognized resort destinations in the world today," says Trump.

Known for its innovative marketing strategies, S&P will sell the luxury suites at an average price of $1.5 million US. The suites are priced from the mid-$400,000's for a studio suite to over $9 million for a three bedroom penthouse.

"Intense interest in Asia led us to arrange the same day sale in Tokyo," says S&P's President Sid Landolt. "We're getting calls from celebrities and real estate connoisseurs from around the world. They know what they want and they want the best."

The sale of Trump Tower Waikiki will be an international launch, with suites being sold to buyers around the world via the internet with a real time 'availability board'. Despite the relative newness of the hotel condominium asset class in Japan, buyers in Japan accounted for approximately 40 per cent of total reservations as of October 28th - a clear indication that high net worth resort buyers in Japan are embracing the potential of investments in overseas luxury properties.

While the Waikiki tower is Trump's first foray into Hawaii, that's not the case for Sid Landolt and Peter Dupuis, co-founders and principals of S&P, a company which has designed and successfully marketed two luxury communities on the Big Island of Hawaii.

A world leader in luxury resort living, S&P is devoted to creating and selling the finest real estate in the finest places on earth. From Whistler B.C. to Loch Lomond, Scotland, it has designed and marketed $4.5 billion worth of real estate world-wide. Most of their projects have sold out on opening day or within weeks of the initial launch.

Trump Tower Waikiki marks the first time in 25 years that a new five-star hotel is being developed in Oahu. Following completion of construction in 2009, condominium owners and hotel guests will enjoy the unparalleled service and amenities the Trump brand offers. Located just steps away from the world-famous Waikiki beach, the project will offer an array of services, including a library, wine cellar, lobby bar, cafe, infinity edge pool, sun terrace, private fitness centre, spa, 24-hour maid and concierge services and expansive views of the ocean and Fort DeRussy Park.

Suites in Trump Tower Waikiki will range from 500 square feet to over 3,000 square feet with five star finishings and services.

For new owners choosing to place their new resort property in a managed rental pool, suites are expected to fetch strong daily room rates comparable with those of the neighbouring luxurious Halekulani Hotel.
