Peak of the Market-C.E.O. Challenges All Manitoba Businesses

Larry McIntosh wants to see the province's business community get into summer!

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - July 12, 2007) - Now that summer is here and Manitoba is welcoming many visitors to our beautiful province, Peak of the Market's President & C.E.O. is making a challenge to all Manitoba businesses.

The challenge Larry McIntosh is making to Manitoba's businesses is to clean up their properties and beautify green spaces. The challenge includes painting, removing graffiti and weeds; sweeping parking lots and sidewalks, picking up litter and just generally cleaning up around their properties.

"It's all about making a difference in our communities. Just because many businesses lease space doesn't mean they shouldn't take care of it," McIntosh said. "In fact, we would like to invite all Manitobans to come and see our property any time, have a picnic on our lawn (don't forget to eat your veggies) and come in for a tour of our Distribution Centre."

"I encourage all business owners and managers to go for a walk outside their building. Look at their property from a visitor's point of view," McIntosh stated. "So many times, we walk by things everyday without noticing what visitors may notice. Is the outside something to be proud of or is it time to clean up?"

As a long-time supporter of awards for business and commercial properties, Peak of the Market is encouraging all Manitoba businesses to join in making this one of Canada's most beautiful provinces to visit and enjoy. This is the second year in a row Larry McIntosh has issued this challenge.
