PEN Inc. Announces New Distribution Agreement in the Northeast Market

CLARITY AR Eyeglass Cleaner and CLARITY DEFOG IT Available in up to 200 Grocery Stores Starting in June

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwired - May 11, 2016) - PEN Inc. (OTCQB: PENC) ("PEN" or "the Company"), a leader in developing, commercializing and marketing consumer and industrial products enabled by nanotechnology, today announced that its subsidiary Nanofilm, Ltd., has entered into a distribution agreement with a regional grocery retailer.

Commencing in June 2016, customers will find Nanofilm's CLARITY™ AR eyeglass cleaner in 2-ounce liquid spray, 50-ml foamer and 4-ounce gel formats as well as CLARITY DEFOG IT™ kits in the Eyecare/Earcare aisle of up to 200 grocery stores located in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and Maryland.

"Gaining a foothold with a well-recognized regional chain is an important first step to expand CLARITY™ branded products in the mass market retail channel. We look forward to working with our new partner and will leverage our R&D expertise, category leading innovation, and strong brands to drive sales and category growth of eyecare products in their stores," said Rex Talbott, Nanofilm's Director-Optical Products. "We plan to build on this success and further expand our footprint in this and other regional markets the future."

Developed specifically for anti-reflective lenses, CLARITY™ AR lens cleaner is the ideal alternative to soap and water, tissue paper or clothing, all of which can harm coatings on prescription eyeglasses or leave streaks that interfere with vision. CLARITY™ AR is safe and effective on all prescription glasses, safety and sport goggles, sunglasses, and all other eyewear. It wets the surface better than traditional cleaners to lift soils and grease, resulting in a haze-free, streak-free lens.

CLARITY DEFOG IT™ is the best performing anti fog product on the market today and is trusted by the military, safety professionals, and athletes worldwide.
