Penn Traffic Joins Leading Retailers in Deploying One Network's Supply Chain Solution

Benefits From Higher Productivity, Lower Operating Costs, and an Integrated Supply Chain

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 27, 2007 -- One Network Enterprises Inc., the pioneer of innovative solutions for Business Process Networks, today announced that Penn Traffic, a Top 75 North American Food retailer, has selected One Network's Multi-Enterprise Retail Network to manage transportation and supply chain operations. As a leader in the Northeast Grocery Industry, Penn Traffic found the One Network solution to be the only solution to dynamically optimize, monitor, and execute its supply chain across Penn Traffic and its partners.

"Penn Traffic is driven to create an integrated supply chain, where tactical and operational activities are coordinated harmoniously," stated Tim Cipiti, Penn Traffic's Vice President of Distribution and Manufacturing. "A key factor in selecting One Network was that their transportation and appointment scheduling solution was not a stand-alone solution, but an integrated supply chain solution that ties together our transportation, replenishment, and distribution operations. With One Network we receive a complete network-based supply chain solution that connects our employees, supply chain partners, distribution centers, stores, and processes and delivers superior integrated planning and execution capabilities."

One Network's advanced and widely used retail network includes more than 1,800 food industry vendors, carriers, and retailers. "One Network's strong presence and experience in the food industry was a main determining factor in our selection," Cipiti stated. "During our initial selection process, we identified that over 70% of our vendors and carriers were members of One Network. Their food industry penetration and experience will greatly expedite our deployment and deliver immediate value to Penn Traffic and our trading partners. Additionally, we are looking forward to the Prepaid-to-Collect conversion opportunities their network and expertise will create."

Penn Traffic joins other food industry leaders, who deploy One Network's supply chain software solution, including The Kroger Company, Publix, Bozzuto's, Food Lion, Spartan Stores, Safeway, and Smart and Final. "With the addition of Penn Traffic to our customer list, over 25% of all grocery volume in the United States flows through our network," stated Steve Robinson, One Network's Executive Vice President of Retail. "The aggregated volume creates a competitive advantage for all participants and demonstrates our position as the leader in providing network-based supply chain solutions to the food industry. By focusing on our network-based supply chain solutions, we have now helped hundreds of customers achieve a rapid Return on Investment and manage the complexity of multi-partner supply chain processes."
