Pennsylvania Expansion Delves HBK CPAs & Consultants Deeper Into Mid-Atlantic Region

Resnick, Amsterdam, Leshner Has Spent 32 Years Building Relationships

CANFIELD, OH--(Marketwired - December 12, 2016) - HBK CPAs & Consultants (HBK) announced the signing of a conclusive merger agreement under which Resnick, Amsterdam, Leshner, P.C. (RAL) will join its multidisciplinary financial services firm.

The merger represents greater expansion into the mid-Atlantic region for HBK, a Top 100 firm according to the rankings of both Accounting Today and Inside Public Accounting magazines.

"We are pleased to welcome the team of Resnick, Amsterdam, Leshner into the HBK family. Clearly a like-minded office, RAL operates on a service philosophy that mirrors our own," said Christopher Allegretti, CPA and managing principal of HBK.

Allegretti noted that RAL's leadership has long focused on establishing enduring relationships with clients; a keystone principle of HBK's, adding that the firm continually pursues expansion through organic growth, as well as strategic mergers and acquisitions.

"We constantly seek collaborations with established firms meeting our high quality service standards, which foster our own culture and business philosophies," said James Bartolomei, CPA and principal-in-charge of the mid-Atlantic region for HBK.

"HBK is the perfect solution to help us to continue to grow our practice. We now have the extensive resources of a great regional firm, but can continue to serve our clients at the local level. HBK's approach in this regard is unique to our industry and provides an unrivaled client service experience," said Steve Resnik of RAL.

"Our entire team is excited about the opportunities that this merger presents for our clients as well as their careers," said Gary Loewenstern of RAL.

RAL has served the community of Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, for the last 32 years. The firm has two dozen employees and its main area of concentration has been small and medium-sized businesses with a concentration on entities in the sports industry. "RAL has become known as the 'Baseball Accountants' and we look forward to expanding our expertise and service offerings under the HBK brand," said Resnick.

RAL's team will operate as HBK CPAs & Consultants from its current office in Blue Bell. "We're the same people our clients have always known, offering the same dedicated service. We are taking this huge step forward to benefit our clients, who will receive a greater range of service and expertise to compliment their growing businesses," Loewenstern stated.

"This is all about what's best for our clients and our own team because, as our mission statement reflects, we want them not only to achieve more than they ever dreamed possible, but to have fun while doing it," said Principal Michael Wolf.
