People Corporation Announces Dennis Stewner to Join as CFO and COO

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 11, 2016) - People Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PEO) today announces that Dennis Stewner, CPA, CA will be appointed as the Company's Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer and that Keith McMahon will be stepping down as the current CFO and will pursue another opportunity. As a consequence of People Corporation's growth over the past year, combined with its overall strategic plan, the Company determined that it was important to expand the scope of the role to include increased operational responsibilities.

Dennis has over 20 years of financial and operational leadership experience primarily in the financial services industry. He brings expertise in financial and capital management, financial reporting and compliance and scaling of operations. Most recently, Dennis was the Senior Vice-President for National Bank Financial where he was responsible for the bank's Canadian full service brokerage business outside of Québec. Prior to that, he was the CFO and COO for Wellington West Holdings Inc.
