People of Every Age in 9 Quebec Municipalities are Invited to Engage in a Creative Uproar to Show Their Support to a Good Cause!

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 20, 2014) - This is how the Maison des greffés Lina Cyr, which celebrates its 20th year of existence, wishes to loudly highlight the crossing of its 2014 bike challenge

People are invited to engage creatively in a great uproar to highlight the crossing of the 125 cyclists who will ride from Montreal to Quebec, on July 11 and 12.

On July 11, the pack of cyclists will start the tour from Place Longueuil, at 9 A.M. They will make short breaks in Verchères (10:30 A.M.), Sorel (noon), and Pierreville (3:30 P.M.) before stopping at Nicolet around 5 P.M.

On July 12, the first break will take place in Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets (10:30 A.M.), another in Lotbinière (noon), and Saint-Antoine-de-Tilly (2:30 P.M.) before the glorious pack crosses the finish line at the Hôpital Laval, in Sainte-Foy, at 4:30 P.M.

Registration to this bike challenge is one of the most affordable in Quebec and all of the funds collected will go directly to benefit transplant patients. It cost 800$ per participant to register and there are 25 spaces left.

Two female media personalities will put their muscles and their stamina to the test by participating to the endurance tour.

Annie Gagnon, presenter of the popular television show J.E. for 12 years, and Nancy Audet, a well-known journalist for Radio-Canada, LCN and TVA, will complete the tour.

The two ambassadors are determined to achieve the goal of $135,000, which will help the lodging and accommodation needs of all the province's transplanted patients.
