PeopleMatter Celebrates Six Years of Helping Companies Optimize Workforce Management

Company Honors Milestone by Commemorating Achievements, Giving Back to the Community

CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwired - Nov 16, 2015) -  Today PeopleMatter celebrates its six-year history as a company, highlighting its impact on the workforce management space and success in helping service industry employers transform how they hire, manage and develop their teams.

"Despite our relative short time on the market, PeopleMatter has achieved tremendous growth as we seek to provide the workforce management solutions that today's service industry brands need to be successful," said Nate DaPore, president and CEO of PeopleMatter. "Our success over the past six years is due to our core values of integrity, teamwork, innovation, excellence and service, and a highly qualified and effective team committed to these ideals. I am incredibly grateful to the entire PeopleMatter team for helping us achieve this milestone."

Since its founding in 2009, PeopleMatter has provided service industry employers with easy-to-use workforce management software to elevate their people strategies and help their organizations thrive. In this time, the company has developed cutting-edge technology solutions and business analytics tools to connect processes, employees and customers in new ways to help automate and optimize key talent functions. By enabling greater efficiency, engagement and customer satisfaction, the company has grown considerably and currently serves many of the biggest brands in the service industry, accounting for more than 47,000 store locations.

To celebrate its six-year anniversary, PeopleMatter held an all-day event on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 to acknowledge its achievements and give back to the community. The entire PeopleMatter team spent the day volunteering at the Lowcountry Food Bank in Charleston, S.C., which collects food products from manufacturers, food distributors, the government, supermarkets, wholesalers and farmers and redistributes to families in need throughout the 10 coastal counties of South Carolina. Through these efforts, PeopleMatter helped feed more than 5,000 individuals. In addition, the team from PeopleMatter's Atlanta office volunteered at Foster Care Support Foundation, which provides free clothing, infant equipment and development toys to thousands of children in foster and relative care.

"We thought there would be no better way to honor our success as a company and commitment to the Charleston and Atlanta communities than by volunteering for local worthy causes," said DaPore. "We are proud to have supported the Lowcountry Food Bank and Foster Care Support Foundation and support their missions to help those in need. We look forward to continuing our efforts with these organizations going forward."

In addition to this initiative, the PeopleMatter team also participated in several activities to further build engagement. This included a city-wide scavenger hunt across Charleston, as well as an awards ceremony and continued celebration at the city's Bay Street Biergarten.

DaPore added, "PeopleMatter has achieved tremendous results in just six years; as we continue to expand our offerings and bring new innovation to the service industry, we expect this growth to continue well into the future."
