PeopleMatter's Anna Turner Selected for Society for Human Resource Management's Expertise Panel

Turner to Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Emerging Technology and HR Management Trends as Member of Exclusive SHRM Panel


CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwired - Feb 16, 2016) - Today PeopleMatter announced that Anna Turner, vice president of product management, has been appointed to the 2016 Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Technology & HR Management Special Expertise Panel. SHRM's Special Expertise Panels serve as resources to advance the HR profession by reporting emerging trends in specific HR topic areas.

As vice president of product management for PeopleMatter, Turner is responsible for managing the product roadmap and developing new features and products for the company's industry-leading workforce management platform that transforms how companies manage their people and processes. Prior to joining PeopleMatter in 2012 as a product owner, she served as product manager for Benefitfocus, where she worked closely with employers to define the product strategy and requirements for the company's solutions. In addition, Turner has held product manager and recruitment roles at Blackbaud and served as a past president and board member of the South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers. 

A SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Turner also has earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute and a Group Benefit Associate (GBA) certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Citadel and a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Clemson University.
