Pepper Rock Resources Announces the Company Is Beginning Casing

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) - Pepper Rock Resources Corp. (OTCBB: PEPR) is pleased to announce that the first well of the two well re-entry program is progressing as part of phase one of the joint venture agreement with Oxalis Energy Corp.

Cement and casing preparation has begun, and it is anticipated that this process will be completed in the next 2 weeks. Casing is the first and most important step after a well is drilled. Well casing consists of a series of metal tubes installed in the freshly drilled hole. Casing serves to strengthen the sides of the well hole, to ensure that no oil or natural gas seeps out of the well hole as it is brought to the surface, and to keep other fluids or gases from seeping into the formation through the well.

It is then perforated and/or frac (fractured) where small holes are punched in the casing/cement so the gas can flow to the surface.

This same process will take place for the second well re-entry and, upon the results, the Company will take the necessary steps to bring the wells online into commercial production.
