Performing Arts Take Centre Stage in Kitchener-Waterloo

Government of Canada supports Centre in The Square's annual presentation series


KITCHENER, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - June 20, 2014) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Government of Canada is providing the Centre in The Square performing-arts centre in Kitchener with $60,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to support its annual presentation series. The Centre's programming features contemporary performing arts and work for young audiences and showcases both established and emerging artists from Canada and abroad.

The announcement was made today by Member of Parliament Stephen Woodworth (Kitchener Centre) on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
