Pericom Delivers Industry First USB3.1 Type-C Total Solution Supporting Alternate Mode Switching

In partnership with multiple chipset providers, Pericom is currently supporting a number of significant engagements with key OEMs for notebook, smart phone, tablet, docking station, and monitor applications.

Pericom's PI3USB30532 new solution offers a 6x4 differential crossbar signal switch with minimal insertion loss and crosstalk supporting alternate mode switching that allows 5 Gbps USB3.1 Gen 1 and 5.4 Gbps DisplayPort DP1.2a signals through a Type-C connector.
