Perihelion Global Granted Membership Into National Biodiesel Board

WILMINGTON, DE and SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - May 8, 2008) - Perihelion Global (PINKSHEETS: PHGI), a development company with interests in natural resources, alternative energies, and advanced communications, today announced that the Company through its energy division has been granted membership into the National Biodiesel Board as a full-voting, producing member.

The National Biodiesel Board (NBB) is organized exclusively to promote the common business interests of those parties seeking to advance the use of Biodiesel as a fuel or fuel additive that meets ASTM standards. The Company has fully met the NBB eligibility requirements for Biodiesel producers and has recently been added to the producing member list at the NBB website.

As members of the NBB, the Company now has access to extensive benefits including legislative, industrial, environmental, educational, and marketing resources. Additionally, as a producing member of the NBB, the company can utilize extensive environmental test data conducted by the NBB for compliance with EPA regulations.

John H. Beebe, President & CEO of Perihelion Global, commented, "We are pleased to have been granted membership into the National Biodiesel Board and join a diverse group of companies, large and small, that believe in Biodiesel. We look forward to working with the National Biodiesel Board and its members to further the Biodiesel Industry."

Lamar Lindsey, Manager of Perihelion's Opp Biofuel Refinery, stated, "We believe our Company can make a positive impact in our region by producing a cleaner, economically-sound diesel fuel solution from non-edible feedstock sources."

The Company believes its initial investments into clean energy production have been justified by current economic and environmental climate. The U.S. Energy Information Administration's just-released May 6, 2008 Short-Term Energy Outlook projects diesel fuel prices to average $3.94/gallon for the remainder of 2008. Crude Oil prices continue to set record highs and recently traded over $123 a barrel. Both continue to bolster the economic and environmental benefits of the Company's Biodiesel fuel.

About the National Biodiesel Board:

The mission of the National Biodiesel Board is to advance the interests of its members by creating sustainable biodiesel industry growth. NBB serves as the industry's central coordinating entity and will be the single voice for its diverse membership base. Industry growth will be achieved through public affairs, communications, technical, and quality assurance programs. We are dedicated to inclusiveness and integrity.
