Perlite Canada Inc. Announces its Results for its Second Quarter of 2011

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 30, 2011) - Perlite Canada inc. (the «Company») (TSX VENTURE:PCI) announces hereby the results of its second quarter 2011 ended on April 30, 2011.

For the second quarter that ended April 30, 2011 (the "2^nd Quarter 2011") the Company generated revenues of $2,188,504 compared to revenues of $2,316,293 during the second quarter ended April 30, 2010 and revenues of $2,343,452 during the second quarter ended April 30, 2009. For the six months period ended on April 30, 2011, Company's business revenues were $3,788,906 compared to $3,924,464 for the same six months period in 2010 and $3,684,912 in 2009.

The Company recorded earnings before income taxes of $62,104 for the 2^nd Quarter 2011 compared to earnings before income taxes of $70,097 for the second quarter of 2010 and a loss before taxes of $122,295 for the second quarter of 2009. For the six months period ended on April 30, 2011, the Company recorded earnings before income taxes of $28,430 compared to a loss before taxes of $32,923 for the same period in 2010 and a loss before taxes of $449,825 for the same period in 2009.

The Company generated net earnings of $42,951 for the 2^nd Quarter 2011 compared to net earnings of $54,702 for the second quarter of 2010 and a net loss of $125,264 for the second quarter of 2009. For the six months period ended on April 30, 2011, the Company generated net earnings of $19,661 compared to a net loss of $11,632 for the same period in 2010 and a net loss of $351,587 in 2009.

Perlite Canada inc. specializes in the processing, distribution and sale of perlite and vermiculite, two minerals used in industry and horticulture.
