(i) Sample preparation was done at the University of Chihuahua. Samples were bagged, tagged and sealed in the field. Samples were transported to the metallurgical preparation laboratory at the University for drying and crushing to 100% at 10 mesh. A ±500 g fraction of crushed samples was split using a Johns riffle splitter. Samples were packed in a plastic bag, tagged with the field number, sealed and shipped to the Technic-Lab facilities in Ste-Germaine-de-Boule (Quebec) for assaying. The -10 mesh crushed samples were sorted numerically, tagged and a 200 to 300 g portion was taken for pulverization to 80% at 200 mesh. Samples were then analyzed using the Faire-Assay method for gold, silver, copper, zinc and lead. Laboratory standards, blanks and duplicates were added to the sample batches.

Pershimco received assays from 181 samples of which 36 higher grade assay results were from samples of the Rodrigo claims essentially derived from 4 sample sites that included the Shaft, Trench, Stockpile and Adit, located along the eastern portion of the mineralized skarn unit. The (iron) magnetite-rich skarns from historic mineralized trenches and underground stockpiles found at surface, near the shaft openings, contain anomalous and, locally, appreciable amounts of precious and base metals.

More than 800 selective trench and surface grab samples were collected during the Phase 1 work program that took place during May and June 2007 on its wholly owned Magistral Project. Samples were taken from 10 trenches covering historic areas of iron mineralization linked to magnetite skarns, within an envelope of limestones and arenites altered to marbles and calc-silicate skarns found on the Melina, Camila, Magistral Dos, Rodrigo, Vicky, Ana, Isabel and Karla claims. The skarn is a continuous unit surrounding and capping a granite-granodiorite intrusive, varies in thickness from 50 m to 500 m, and extends the full length of the Magistral Project, a combined 7 km strike length.

The Phase 1 exploration program is to evaluate the size potential of the skarn mineralization. All of the individual properties have undergone some form of historic selective underground mining to shallow depths (less than 100 m).
