Pershimco Initiates Work at New Gold-Copper Project In Mexico, Adds 7 New Properties to Original Camila-Melina Concessions

CHIHUAHUA, MEXICO--(CCNMatthews - March 28, 2007) - PERSHIMCO RESOURCES INC. (TSX VENTURE:PRO) wishes to inform its shareholders that the Company has started the detailed planning for the upcoming Phase 1 exploration program on its 100% owned 778 hectares Magistral Project, that includes the recently acquired Camila and Melina properties in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico (refer to the news release dated December 7, 2006). The Magistral Project is located 50 km east of the Company's San Miguel and La Bamba Properties.

Seven additional concessions were acquired around the original 122 hectares Camilla-Melina concessions, following the significant results outlined by the surface grab samples at Camila-Melina that gave up to 2.18% Copper. These include the Magistral Dos (375 hectares), Rodrigo (4 hectares), Vicky (45 hectares), Ana (100 hectares), Isabel Frac W. (68 hectares), Isabel (24 hectares) and Karla (40 hectares)

The new concessions have been historically mined by Mexican interests, and are easily accessible via the main state highway and secondary gravel roads leading to the site, some 60 km south of Chihuahua. The presence of numerous shafts and adits also provide easy access to the Copper bearing skarns and breccia.

Numerous geology reports, sampling and processing information are available from previous vendors Grupo Licona, FIFOMI and Industrial Minera Mexico, in particular, the Mexican government's Consejo de Recursos Minero. Significant highlights include from the:

The new concessions were purchased from private individuals, and have no royalty attached. The first 50% of the Magistral Dos, and 100% of the Rodrigo, Vicky, Ana and Isabel concessions were purchased for US$ 50,000. The remaining 50% of Magistral Dos will be purchased for US$ 60,000 as soon as all legal paperwork is approved by the Company and the vendor. The La Chata Concession was purchased for a sum of US$ 50,000.

Alain Bureau, VP Operations, based in Chihuahua, Mexico, states "...combined with our San Miguel and La Bamba interests, the new Magistral Project will help fuel our exploration programs. The Magistral Project has a significant precious and base metals potential, and is very important to Pershimco considering its easy access, close to all infrastructures and also at current metal prices. The exploration team, who recently managed and operated the drill campaign at the Company's Courville Gold Project in only 28 days, will be soon breaking rocks in Chihuahua...".
