A highly scalable solution, Radia Client Automation enables large enterprises to attain desired-state management of the entire lifecycle of their physical and virtual endpoint devices, resolving the complexities associated with BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Today's announcement delivers on Persistent Systems' strategic agreement with HP to license its Client Automation software, invest in its development, and extend all existing aspects of the product including Mac support and Mobile Device Management (MDM) functionality. In accordance with the agreement, HP will resell Persistent Systems' branded Radia Client Automation solution.
A highly scalable solution, Radia Client Automation enables consistent management of virtual and physical client devices, automating operating system deployments and upgrades, patch management, application software deployment, application usage monitoring, security, compliance and remote system management for cost effective and optimal IT efficiency.

The ability to publish mobile applications, entitle these applications to mobile devices, and conduct audits to collect the latest inventory details. Radia Client Automation 9.0 supports Android and iOS-based mobile devices.
Enhanced Role-based Access Control
Enhanced reporting and dashboard capabilities for access control framework providing more granular access control level for performing administrative tasks. Enterprises can now assign the capabilities of a role to specific targets. Targets determine an OU (Organizational Unit) or a group of managed devices on which users can perform the capabilities assigned to them based on their roles.
Full support for Windows 8
Complete management of Windows 8 end-point devices, OS migration from Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 to Windows 8 and the preservation of user data and settings during OS migration.
Support for IPv6 on HPCA Agent
Support for Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) for external communication among Core, Satellite and Agent technology on Windows systems. The internal communication among these components takes place using IPv4.
Management of Internet Devices
Inventory, software deployment, patching, and vulnerabilities management of devices outside the corporate network.
Enhanced Patch Management
Scanning of managed devices for any vulnerability for Adobe and Java vendors and the remediation of the vulnerable devices.
Support for capturing and deploying Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) images on HP thin clients. Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.3 and SUSE Linux Enterprise 11.
