Petey's BING™ Energy Drink Selected as Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage in the Americas

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - November 3, 2010) - Petey's BING™ Energy Drink out of Denver, Colorado won first prize as the Best Non-Alcoholic Beverage in the Americas at the 14th Americas Food and Beverage Show and Conference.

The international conference, held this year at the World Trade Center Miami, featured an eclectic selection of foods and beverages from over 350 exhibitors in 27 different nations. The Judging Panel in charge of selecting category winners contained representatives of restaurants, supermarket chains, grocery stores, catering businesses, gourmet stores, and trade industry media.

Inspiration Beverage Company, LLC, the maker of Petey's BING Energy Drink, received the top prize for the non-alcoholic beverage category at an October 25th ceremony.

IBC, a family-owned and operated company, has been securing distribution for BING outside of its home Colorado market since last fall. The brand became a local phenomenon soon after its 2007 launch at Denver-area farmers' markets and was recently available at retail locations in 20 states across the country and is now in discussions with numerous companies interested in exporting the brand to various countries in the Americas.

According to Seckman, health-conscious consumers are especially responsive to the wonderful taste and relatively low calorie and carb counts of BING. "The product was developed for those wanting a refreshing energy boost but also concerned about what they put in their bodies."
