Petrolia: Denis Duteau Named Head of Community Relations


RIMOUSKI, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - May 6, 2013) - Pétrolia (TSX VENTURE:PEA) is pleased to announced the appointment of Denis Duteau as Head of Community Relations for Anticosti Island and Quebec's North Shore.

Mr. Duteau is a trained biologist with extensive management experience. He served as mayor of the municipality of Île d'Anticosti from 2005 to 2012 and has held administrative positions in various organizations. Mr. Duteau is also well known for his volunteer contributions, especially in the areas of economic and community development. His experience and his knowledge of local and regional issues are valuable assets for Petrolia, which is preparing to launch an exploration program on Anticosti Island.

Mr. Duteau will be responsible for helping integrate Petrolia's activities in the community. He is also tasked with developing partnerships with economic and social stakeholders on the island and in other communities in the region. He will be based on Anticosti Island.
