PetroWorth Appoints William Forster to Board of Directors

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 29, 2006) - PetroWorth Resources Inc. (PetroWorth) announced today the appointment of William (Bill) P. Forster to the company's board of directors.

Mr. Forster has more than 35 years of oil and gas industry experience, including three years as President of the Encana/Ocean Rig East Coast Drilling Partnership, and a number of years in senior engineering positions with Dome Petroleum, Gulf Canada, Canadian Petroleum Engineering, Pan Canadian Petroleum and Encana Corporation. In addition, he has been Project Manager for numerous oil and gas projects around the world, including Atlantic Canada, Russia, Europe and the Beaufort Sea.

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Mr. Forster holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Teeside, and has held numerous professional affiliations, including Chartered Engineer U.K., the Institute of Marine Engineers (UK) and the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering.

PetroWorth is a junior oil and gas exploration company with extensive onshore properties in Eastern Canada. The Company has acquired 100% working interests in almost one million acres in nine separate exploration permits on Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The strategy of the company is to conduct aggressive exploration drilling programs on these permitted properties, both in-house and through advantageous farm-in arrangements.

PetroWorth will commence trading on the CNQ stock exchange on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 under the symbol "PTWR".
