PFL Is Now Accepting Applicants for Head of Officials

Deadline Is Nov. 6, Position to Be Filled Mid December

FRISCO, TX--(Marketwired - October 15, 2015) - No sport is complete without the referees and the Professional Futsal League demands the world's elite when it comes to officials.

The league is slated for an exhibition schedule in the fall of 2016 with full league play set for fall 2017. As preparations continue, the PFL will begin accepting applications for the Head of Officials through Nov. 6.

PFL Commissioner Keith Tozer said the league's goal is to provide the highest level of professional futsal on the planet. "To manage these games at this incredibly high level, we will also need to have the top referees available," Tozer said. "The PFL Head of Officials will have the responsibility not only to identify these referees but to educate as well as administrate this very important aspect of the PFL. Our goal at the PFL is to attract the very best referees and create a referee department second to none."

PFL President Michael Hitchcock said the executive board including league investors Donnie Nelson and Brian Dick will be involved in the vetting and selection process. "Since the PFL's formation in January we have built a tremendously talented front office and are eager to bolster that leadership group with the addition of our first Head of Officials," Hitchcock said.

Officials can submit their credentials online beginning at 10 a.m. CDT on Thursday, October 15 via http://professionalfutsal.com/application-form-for-head-of-officials/
