PGA Player Ricky Barnes Adds Coloured Gloves to His Game at the 2011 Sony Open; Signs Exclusive Contract With Mossimo's G/FORE

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - January 11, 2011) -  G/FORE, a new company from fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, today announced it has signed an exclusive glove deal with PGA Tour player Ricky Barnes. 

Whilst the G/FORE product line will not be available until March, Barnes will debut the coloured glove, wearing one of any of the 13 available colours, at the Sony Open, January 10-16, 2011, in Oahu, Hawaii.

The contract, finalized as Barnes finished his second full season on the PGA TOUR ranked 75th in the world and 64th in the FedEx Cup standings, ensures that Barnes will exclusively wear the G/FORE glove on the PGA Tour.

G/FORE will unveil the entire line of 13 coloured golf gloves in an official exhibition at the 57th Annual PGA Merchandise Show, January 27-29, 2011, in Orlando, Florida. Nearly 40,000 attending PGA Professionals, top golf brands and distributors, and golf retailers from around the world will experience the dramatic influence of colour on golf's critical accessory.

To accentuate the green of the fairways, G/FORE will release a 13-colour palette including: Onyx, Espresso, Midnight, Crimson, Berry, Charcoal, Tangerine, Lemon, Blush, Azure, Sky, Clover and Wisteria. G/FORE's finely tailored glove features hand-selected grade AA cabretta leather, a boiled-felt, embroidered logo, matching tonal trim and a soft pile velcro closure. The glove conforms with USGA rules.
