Pharmaceutical Strategies Group Welcomes New Talent With Unmatched PBM Expertise

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 18, 2007 -- Pharmaceutical Strategies Group (PSG), a pharmacy benefits consultancy, announces the addition of five highly qualified professionals with decades of pharmaceutical benefit management (PBM) experience: John Hines, MBA, Marybeth Ochoa, Jennifer L. Athmann, PharmD, Rph, Pamela Knox and Sondra Ferrill.

PSG continues to build the broadest and deepest talent in the pharmacy consulting business, which is a key differentiator in the marketplace, allowing the company to sign world-class brands to its growing list of clients.

John Hines will serve as Director, Tools & Client Automation, supporting PSG's data warehousing, reporting and analytics functions in Scottsdale, Ariz. He has more than 10 years of experience with systems and financial analyses, holding various senior-level positions with Caremark Rx and CIGNA HealthCare. He will spearhead PSG's 2007 rollout of advanced data and financial analysis tools. He holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northern Arizona University.

Marybeth Ochoa, Manager of Client Support Services in Chicago, Ill., is responsible for all client service deliverables, including analysis, reporting, quality assurance testing, contract compliance, and execution of test scenarios to validate pricing calculations and benefit design. Previously, she held managerial positions at SXC Health Care Solutions, Damer & Cartwright Pharmacy, Apria Health Care, and UnitedHealth Group.

Jennifer L. Athmann, Director of Strategic Account Services in Shakopee, Minn., is PSG's point person for account planning processes, helping with overall process improvement/management efforts, and lending additional resources to the account management group for tool development, project planning, and client satisfaction. Formerly, she was the director of account service at Express Scripts, Inc., focusing on the large employer segment. Past employers include Target Pharmacy, Allina Home Infusion Services and Children's Healthcare.

Pamela Knox is an account manager in Ambler, Penn., responsible for assisting clients with their PBM relationship, including implementations, reporting initiatives, overall operational process improvements, and a variety of other initiatives. She has 17 years of experience in the PBM industry and previously held senior account management and analyses roles at Medco Health Solutions and HealthTrans. Knox holds a bachelor's degree from University of South Carolina.

Sondra Ferrill joins PSG as an account manager, based in Irving, TX. She has 14 years of experience in the healthcare and PBM industry, most recently as a regional account manager with PharmaCare. Ferrill holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Texas.
