Phibro Animal Health Corporation Interim Results for the Six Months Ended December 31, 2008

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ--(Marketwire - February 13, 2009) - Phibro Animal Health Corporation ("Phibro" or the "Company") today announced its interim results for the six months ended December 31, 2008.

The Company's sales of $269 million increased $33 million, or 14%, over the same period last year. Animal health and nutrition sales of $218 million increased $25 million, or 13%, over last year. Performance products sales of $51 million increased $8 million, or 19%, over last year. Sales increased due to unit volume growth and the pass through of raw material cost increases.

The Company's operating profitability continued to improve, with growth over last year. Jack C.
