Philadelphia Plastic Surgeon to Perform Live Facelift at 49th Annual Baker Gordon Symposium

Louis P. Bucky, MD Is Scheduled to Showcase His Innovative Tumescent Facelift Technique by Performing Live Surgery at the 2015 Baker Gordon Symposium

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - Feb 11, 2015) - Dr. Louis P. Bucky, a board certified plastic surgeon in Philadelphia, will be lecturing, participating in a panel discussion, and performing live facelift surgery at the upcoming 2015 Baker Gordon Symposium. This year's meeting marks the 49th annual educational symposium, and it is scheduled to take place from Thursday, February 12th to Saturday, February 14th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Miami, FL, with over 500 attendees.

"I've discovered that fluid infiltration separates tissues better to create a gentler and more efficient facelift," Dr. Bucky says in regard to the tumescent facelift technique he will be demonstrating. "I have thoughtfully designed a facelift operation that yields excellent results and requires the patient to be under anesthesia much shorter, and thus a shorter recovery time, and is less taxing and tedious on the surgeon, too. In 2015, I think that's what both patients and surgeons are asking for."

Dr. Bucky will be presenting on both the first and final days of the conference at the following times:

  • 10:50 am on Thursday, February 12th - "Why I Rarely Open the Neck; Establishing Contour without Platysmaplasty" (Lecture/Video Demonstration)
  • 11:25 am on Thursday, February 12th - "To Open or Not Open the Neck - Is That Still the Question?" (Panel/Open Forum)
  • 10:25 am on Saturday, February 14th - "The Tumescent Face Lift - Combining Simplicity with Surgical Control" (Lecture)
  • 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 14th - "Tumescent Face Lift" (Live Surgery)
