Phillips Ranch Veterinarian Announces Reduced Veterinary Fees for Rescue Animals

PHILLIPS RANCH, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 29, 2011) - All Pets Medical & Surgical Center in Phillips Ranch, California announced that the pet hospital is offering discounted or complimentary services for several local rescue organizations. Medical & Surgical Center has been serving the Phillips Ranch, Walnut, Diamond Bar and Pomona pet communities since 1978. In addition to the reduced fee services for certain rescue groups, the pet hospital provides routine wellness care, vaccinations, spay & neuter operations, pet boarding, dental care, surgical care and emergency care for pets in the surrounding communities.

Dr. Thomas Beighlie, DVM and Dr. Charles Mintzer, DVM announced that All Pets Medical & Surgical Center is offering reduced veterinary fees for Southland Collie Rescue, Pugs'n Pals of Southern California, Pugs to Pits, German Shepherd Rescue, Golden Retriever Rescue, Fast Friends, and Grey Save. According to Dr. Beighlie, the animal hospital is happy to extend the same discounted services to other legitimate rescue groups. Rescue groups interested in the services of All Pets Medical & Surgical Center should contact the Center directly.

"Sadly, our local animal shelters are filled with pets in need of a loving home," said Dr. Beighlie. "Here at Pets Medical & Surgical Center, we want to do our part to encourage the adoption of shelter animals. We know that pet care can be expensive, so we're proud to offer discounted services to pet owners who adopt pets from local animal shelters."

The Phillips Ranch pet hospital also offers a complimentary exam and consultation for pets adopted from any Animal Control Agency within 3 days of the adoption. Pet owners should call for an appointment and be prepared to bring all the adopted pet's paperwork to the appointment.

In addition to providing these services to rescue groups and newly adopted pets from Animal Control Agencies, the animal hospital also offers adoptions. According to the pet hospital staff, they currently have a litter of 5-week-old kittens and a one-year-old spayed female cat available for adoption into a loving home.

Dr. Mintzer said, "Many animals that were abandoned or abused are malnourished or require surgical care before they can be adopted. As a veterinarian, I'm proud to help ensure that these animals are in good shape to find loving homes and live long, healthy lives."
