Phinney/Bischoff Design House Appoints Devin Liddell Director of Brand Strategy

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 28, 2007 -- Phinney/Bischoff Design House (PBDH), a Seattle-based brand design firm, announced today that it has named prominent strategist and award-winning copywriter Devin Liddell its Director of Brand Strategy. Prior to joining Phinney/Bischoff Design House, Liddell was Director of Brand Strategy for the Seattle studio of Fitch. Liddell assumes leadership of PBDH's brand strategy and ideation practice. Some of Liddell's recent engagements include creating global marketing collateral for Boeing's 787 Dreamliner and serving as lead writer for the Boeing Dreamspace exhibits at the 2005 Paris Air Show and 2006 Farnborough International Air Show. Last year, Liddell developed the corporate positioning strategy for Viacom (parent company to MTV Networks, BET, Paramount Pictures, and DreamWorks SKG, among others) following its separation from CBS. In 2004, Liddell worked with Microsoft to create Windows Mobile and also wrote the 2003 Microsoft annual report. Over his career, Liddell has led a wide range of branding assignments for clients including Amazon.com, GE, HomeStreet Bank, Macy's, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Nordstrom, Pernod Ricard, Starbucks and Vulcan. Liddell's brand strategy work has been featured in Brandweek and Brand Strategy, and his copywriting work has appeared in Blackbook's AR100, HOW Magazine, NIRI and The Seattle Show. Liddell takes over from Dave Miller, who will continue to collaborate with the firm as a consultant.
