Phoenix NAP Joins the VMware Service Provider Program

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - Aug 29, 2011) - Phoenix NAP®, a premier infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider and primary network access point (NAP), today announced that it is now a member of the VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) as an Enterprise level member. As part of the VMware vCloud® initiative, the VSPP is a framework that enables service and hosting providers to consume VMware virtualization solutions in a way that aligns with their business models.

By utilizing VMware technology, the data center is able to deliver cloud computing services that support the largest set of existing applications and offer distinctive application mobility. Phoenix NAP Secured Cloud clients are able to benefit from VMware's application portability and achieve flexibility and security to meet their requirements while continuing to enable increased IT agility.
