Phoenix Oilfield Hauling Inc. Appoints Interim CEO and Commences Executive Search for Permanent CEO

Phoenix Oilfield Hauling Inc. ("Phoenix" or the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:PHN) is pleased to announce the appointment of David Werklund as the interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix. The board of directors of Phoenix will immediately commence a search for a permanent President and Chief Executive Officer who has experience in transportation and logistics management. During the search, Mr. Werklund will be assisted by Wayne Thompson, Vice President, Oilfield Services of Phoenix with respect to the Corporation's North American operational activities.

Chris Challis, the current President and Chief Executive Officer of Phoenix, has resigned to pursue other business interests. While in his leadership role at Phoenix, Mr. Challis was responsible for moving the Corporation into new markets in the Western Sedimentary Basin and the United States.
