Photo Opportunity: Join Passionate Local Kids to Raise Awareness for the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2011) - On Thursday, August 25, 2011, some school-aged children will put their energy to use in an effort to create awareness for the 18th edition of The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup presented by Loblaw Companies Limited. The Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup is a conservation initiative of the Vancouver Aquarium and WWF to involve Canadians in keeping our shorelines clean. They will comb the shorelines on the Lachine Canal in a call to action encouraging Quebecers of all ages to come out and clean up their local shorelines when the Shoreline Cleanup kicks off on September 17.

Last year's cleanup revealed the Great Canadian Shoreline's top 5 cleanest and dirtiest shorelines in Quebec. To find out which ones should be applauded and which ones could use a little help, please see media release attached!
