PhotoChannel Launches PNI Connected Kiosk

PhotoChannel to show new kiosk technology at PMA in Las Vegas

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 30, 2008) - PhotoChannel Networks Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PN)(OTCBB:PNWIF) ("PhotoChannel" or "PNI") the leading innovator in online digital media solutions for retailers today announces the first public showing of the new PNI Connected Kiosk. The PNI Connected Kiosk is the photo industry's most complete and truly integrated in-store to online print and gift ordering kiosk. The integration to PNI's market leading online photo platform, the PNI Digital Media Platform, sets the PNI Connected Kiosk apart from any of its competitors. PhotoChannel will showcase the PNI Connected Kiosk for the first time at the Photo Marketing Association PMA 2008 Annual Convention, January 31 through February 2, at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

PNI has solved this by integrating a great in-store ordering experience with our carrier grade, transport and transaction platform."

PhotoChannel's PNI Connected Kiosk technology is designed to allow the kiosk to function as a standard in-store print ordering kiosk, but with the added capability and product choice currently offered to consumers on the retailer's online photo website. Utilizing the PNI Connected Kiosk technology the consumer can order prints and at the same time have the added convenience of depositing their digital files into their online account. They may also access images in their online account for in-store printing and most importantly, have the ability to order gifts, calendars and photobooks that are not produced in-store. Retailer management features include remote monitoring of the health and status of the kiosk, remote updating and seamless connectivity from the kiosk to the many production labs a retailer may use to produce gifts outside of the store.
