Physician-Led Nevada Botanical Science Partners With O.penVAPE in Northern Nevada

Group Vows to Help Patients Realize the Benefits of Medical Cannabis

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Mar 16, 2016) - Denver-based O.penVAPE's new healthcare-based venture with Nevada Botanical Science in Reno, NV is manufacturing CO2 extracted cannabis oil and offering the best-selling O.penVAPE vaporizing devices to medical marijuana dispensaries throughout northern Nevada. These products are now available at Silver State Relief in Sparks, the first of ten dispensaries opening in the region.

Robert Summers, Ph.D., COO of Nevada Botanical Science, said his company is owned and operated by healthcare professionals and several local prominent physicians, including Robert Dalrymple, MD., CEO. Nevada Botanical Science is cultivating natural cannabis and manufacturing cannabis oils using the Organa Labs CO2 extraction process. A business partner of O.penVAPE, Organa Labs oil is extracted for use with O.penVAPE cartridges and hardware. Nevada Botanical Science currently employs 10 people, but expects to increase rapidly.

"Nevada Botanical Science is a reality now because it represents long term friendships with Ralph Morgan, the CEO and co-founder of O.penVAPE," Dalrymple said. "We remained close friends since we attended the University of Nevada-Reno, worked together as hospital orderlies at Washoe Medical Center and then pursued advanced degrees and professional careers. Now we're working together again to bring premium refined medical cannabis to patients."

Upon Nevada's legalization of medical cannabis in 2013, Summers and his partners obtained two state licenses authorizing them to legally cultivate cannabis and manufacture cannabis oil.

Morgan said Nevada Botanical Science's team of physicians will guide every aspect of the operation. In addition, they plan to conduct research on the effects of various strains and specific terpene concentrations of CBD and THC and provide community education.

"What they do and how they achieve success with this revolutionary concept of directly incorporating doctors in the evolving cannabis manufacturing industry will certainly be a positive and powerful influence in public perceptions of cannabis as alternative medicine," Morgan said.

Nevada Botanical Science began producing premium cannabis oil using the Organa Labs CO2 extraction process. O.penVAPE products are in stock at Silver State Relief, 175 East Greg Street, Sparks, Nevada 89431.
