Physicians Interactive Chairman and Health eVillages Founder Donato Tramuto to Be Featured Speaker at Intel Security, Health 2.0 India

Tramuto to Speak on "The Art of the Possible" in Global Healthcare, Challenges in Providing Primary Care for 1 Billion People and Holistic Population Health Issues

READING, MA--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - Donato Tramuto, the Chairman and CEO of Physicians Interactive (PI) and Founder of Health eVillages, will share his insights on the challenges in global healthcare at the Intel Security and Health 2.0 conferences in February.

Tramuto has been invited by Mike DeCesare, the President of Intel Security (a division of Intel and formerly McAfee, Inc.), to speak at the company's annual conference. DeCesare and Tramuto will discuss "The Art of the Possible," the keynote topic for the conference.

Intel Security is the world's largest dedicated security technology company. Health eVillages is a program of PI and the not-for-profit Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights that provides mobile health technology to medical professionals in underserved clinical environments around the world.

During the session, Tramuto will share how Health eVillages is using mobile technology to prevent disease and save lives in Africa, the Caribbean and rural Louisiana. The keynote session at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, will begin at 8:45 a.m.

On February 7th and 8th, Tramuto will be appearing at the Health 2.0 India "Simply Lead" conference in Bangalore. He will participate in two separate panels of global thought leaders, where they will be drawing from their years of experience in healthcare to tackle some of the largest challenges facing the industry today.

The first session, "Primary Care for a Billion People," at 2 p.m. on February 7th, will be a panel discussion of some of the most creative minds in healthcare who are working to crack the code on delivering quality healthcare in underserved areas around the world.

Tramuto will also participate in "The Dreams of a Nation" panel discussion following the keynote speech at 12:15 p.m. Donato and other healthcare leaders on the panel will work through the challenges in keeping a population healthy by addressing their pressing holistic needs, including emotional, financial, economic, spiritual and health issues.

"I am excited to be able to share the Health eVillages story at these two prestigious conferences. Nearly a billion people will die prematurely never having seen a healthcare professional and if our message can help to advance -- one life at a time -- a connection to medical care, then together we have made this world more just," said Tramuto. "I emphatically believe that access to quality healthcare is an essential human right, and I am extremely proud to be able to share our accomplishments with other global business leaders such as Intel Security and Health 2.0. Together, the business world can have a substantial impact on the health and overall well-being of the human race."
