Physicians Interactive to Preview Exciting New Omnio iPad App Content Capabilities at Health 2.0 Conference

Omnio's Groundbreaking Healthcare Content Sharing App for Physicians Featured in Digital Doctors Lounge Session on Provider Workflow and Collaboration

READING, MA--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2013) -  Physicians Interactive (PI), the leading provider of online and mobile clinical resources and solutions for healthcare professionals, today announced that Omnio, the company's peer-to-peer healthcare content sharing app for physicians, will be featured at the Health 2.0 Conference on Tuesday, October 1st, at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The Fall Conference runs through October 2nd in Santa Clara, CA.

Gautam Gulati, MD, MBA, MPH, Physician Interactive's Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Product Management, will be previewing several powerful and robust new content features at the conference that are being developed for Omnio's iPad-based, personalized point-of-care tool. He will be part of a panel of industry innovators participating in the Digital Doctors Lounge session on provider workflow and collaboration technologies in the conference center's Grand Ballroom E at 10:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday.

Through a partnership with docwise, Omnio will now offer access to more than 1,200 specialty journals, dozens of health news sites, the ability to create collections of information sources, and the option to share content via email, Facebook and Twitter. The versatile, groundbreaking app optimizes the way medical professionals access information on the iPad, with an integrated, aggregated reader platform for serving personalized curated content to clinicians. Since its introduction less than a year ago, more than 55,000 users around the world have downloaded the Omnio app.
